Learning English in the Unversity

My English learning experience in the university was very good, since know to a great professor with is Simmon Higinson, this is the most important in these two years, because learning much on this idiom, and that after ten years of not having practiced the university gives me a good tool. I that most enjoy in these two years was the classes, because always were entertaining and the help of the professor is very important. The most interesting of the classes of English were the forms as the professor Simmon teaches, since he makes interactive and participatory, including students.
The most boring, were the test and the presentation, because my bad driver of the English and the lack of practice, complicated me for get a good level and get good notes, also because personally not always I dedicate to practiced and I am only responsible of my mistakes in this classes.
The most difficult is speaking and listening, because I not have a good base and practice, this is because in my education secondary the English no are important and only was studied the basic, as say a few things for exampling the colors, objects and other things very simples. Being a great problem in these two years learning English in the university.

My favourite Sport

A long, long time ago, when I was a child my favourite game was football and a great fan of Colo Colo the greatest team of Chile, practice sports until the twenty – five, where play in many team of my town, until one year I played in my favourite team Colo Colo, in the lower divisions, this was when I had fifteen years. Actuality I do not practice this sport, since I practice other activity, the music especially heavy metal.
Recently I am getting a little interested in playing again this sport, because when I was a Child I loved this game and after all the years I still enjoy it a lot.
How I do not practice other sport, by the Saturday was the hill Pochoco, where I make trekking and like me. I also want to run again, because is other sport that practiced when I was a child.

My opinion the Chilean most important is a woman, and I mean to VIOLETA PARRA, she was born in San Carlos the October 14, 1917 and died in Santiago in 1967, exception woman, great artist was composer, musical, folklorist, plastic painter and a complete artist. These are the motive because chose to this person. She is the exponent of the family Parra, family of great musical´s national; she composed beautiful song, as, Volver a los diesiciete, Casamiento de Negro and specially Gracias a la Vida, song that is interpreted for other celebrity of worldwide. Also was a great plastic painter, with important picture as are La hija Curiosa, Velorio de Angelito and other great painter. The valuable work was to show off in France in 1964 in the Pavillon de Marsan in the museum of the Louvre in Paris, where show the culture of Latin-American. These are some motives for that think in she as one important figure Chilean.

If I could converse with this great woman like be Vine, I would ask in that you inspires to compose one of the most beautiful songs, for my compound ones and played in this country, like it is thanks to the Life, a song that allowed me to value the life in a difficult moment for my, and he/she would ask he reason she decided to put an end to their life. Do they exist many things that I would like to make as work, example of it would be it to be a professional musician, but a what I would like really to be an archaeologist, why?, because I like movies of Indiana Jones and the documentaries on archaeological and historical big discoveries. Where one can discover the mysteries of the big civilizations, of the towns natives from all over the world. Because I believe that I would enjoy to be an archaeologist, first because my thirst of knowledge is enormous and because to be part of a great discovery like it was when Heinrich Schliemann found the city of Troya or when Howard Crankcase discovered the tomb of Tutankamon, to think that one can be part of those big events and that the history is engraving my name that it would be also for what I would like to be a great anthropologist, this the reason that one of my biggest passions is the history and with it to know like it was before. The satisfaction that grants an employment as east or any other work type is when one is carried out of being able to make that that to one more he likes it, tolerating the time, the money or any other situation that have this employment, but especially the bonus of making that that to one more he likes to make. The only time that I met a person that was devoted to this personally was when work, and the owner of an architecture office was devoted as hobby, but he had already made some discoveries to the south of Chile, for that reason I believe that when it finishes the university I would like to make this as hobby and because I believe that my career allows to be carried out it.

To have a time machine, and to talk about with them, him first that would ask it is if it is considered an of the most intelligent men in the world and if believes that their theory change the form of seeing, to think and to understand the enormous universe. Then it is if exchange something of their life. Also him ask like you imagines many of the big ideas to be able to understand like the universe is structured, if believes that beings of other world or planets exist and if he would like to make contact with them, since they would be a more advanced race and that to be able to travel for the space they should know more secret of the universe. Because I believe that Arbert Einstain is for my an important and interesting character, because it put to the man that you think of the knowledge like movie stars.

Learn English

I like Learn English so much, although for me is very difficult, since I have not a good above base of the school, because in my school the English was not very important and only we had few classes, in the four year of my tempo of student. However those to be of English the learned for my part, with see movies in this idiom, listening music and reading in English, other reason because is that I´m integral of a band that sings in this idiom, since the vocal of the band and my best friend Esteban know talk very good in English, also the bass that study whit my in the same University, where the learning English, however they has better base that my. This idiom I not use always, because, I not practice in the week and only when I´m in classes, whit my favorite professor, the great Simon Higginson, who treats me of teach, but with few results. My personal opinion on the importance of learn English is very important, since for me future profession the programs that one used the versions they are always in English, also when one wants to grow professionally abroad taking post grades and it is requirement to know English, another point is that the important documents related with the career of geography are published in magazines foreigner in English. In my case it is important to know how to speak and to write very English since I have a very important project that is my band Thunder Lord, where the topics are in English and we wait that in some day to be able to play abroad, especially in Europe.

An interesting store

The place where I like to visit and to go whenever I can they are two the building Crown Square and the store Fender, why I like to visit these stores, because it is where they sell instruments musical of all type and especially the guitars that I like they are Jackson, because I have an and it is the guitar with which I play, Fender because the pattern Stratocaster has a special sound and Gilson with the prettiest guitar that there the pattern LE-PAUL, also because they sell all type of teams to record and to begin to have a test room where my band plays and record. There is this stores I have gone more than for ten years and it is where I usually buy the accessories, teams and instruments that I occupy to play and to rehearse. The concurrence with which I attend is mostly when I have to buy my strings for my two electric guitars and an acoustics, in these stores I sit down as a boy in a toyshop or as a cat in the butcher shop. What I like to make in these stores is to prove the recording teams and the guitars that are there, as well as the different amplifiers, comparing the different sounds that these they have. In some stores they can be made different course, as of guitar, recording of tracks and of other instruments. Another reason for which I go is that there are stores where they repair the guitars of all type. This is a very amusing world of knowing where the pleasure to play some instrument or of recording what one makes when one has a band.

Fiestas Patrias del bicentenario

These Fiestas Patrias are always since a special occasion I share with my family, and I wait that always this with them. When he was a boy we went to the Inns, but for problems with the ambient stop to go and we begin he is necessary to take place in the house, where we share with my other familiar, as my grandparents. But once it was special since we pass these parties in Lampa, where they had traditional competitions, eat typical and a lot that to drink, where we saw careers to the Chilean, stick with fat and other games. We also ate many empanadas, roasted and other rich thing. With my father we play comets and we saw the careers of the horses and of career dogs, to my mother the helping her in the things for the food. A long time ago no longer we go to the Inns and other places, since now we carry out any celebration in our house where we share all together with a great family. The Fiestas Patria as any other parties is since always of great importance the step with my family and we sit down next to the table to share. Concluding this it finishes party it is special because the country turns since two hundred years of republican life it is a special year for that happened in February with the earthquake and with the miners, let us hope it doesn't pass anything bad until year end.

A perfect day for my

For my idea of a perfect day was in the happy new year of 2004, this party was special because after of four and haft years to solve my problem with my brother. This discussion it was a stupidity where no talked. Why is special this day, because all my family returned to be together in the dinner of New Year, for beginning this year in family. This date were in the house preparing and ordering all for the night, all it was special and after the midnight were drinking, talking and happening as a great family. For my after of this night I felt calm and happy, specially because my brother and my family were join again. I remember and keep in my memory the imagine, because my family is the most important that to have in my life. My idea of a perfect day always is with my family, as the vacation, happy birthday, merry Christmas and Happy new years, or any date in which I meet with family and where we are well and united. After the New Year in that it rediscovers me with my brother treatment that the days are perfect and not alone an idea of a perfect day. Several years of that date have passed and each new party of year end is a reminder that if we are together the days they will be perfect.

For a public education of quality

The students of the University of Chile, especially the students of the ability of Architecture and Urbanism are at the moment in protest for the politicians of privatization of the education public university student that are wanted to apply, and that they affect the twenty-six universities that belong to the Council of Rectors, these politicians they want to eliminate the Solidary Fund and to apply the Credo Guarantee of the State and with high interests, to eliminate CRUCH and to make that the State University and the Private ones compete for the funds, to the public universities fourteen percent of the earnings of Codelco was distributed, now they want that it is distributed for the public and private universities, and especially to want to eliminate the public education. I is totally deacuerdo with the manifestations, however I think that the form should be changed to show and to begin to be organized internally with the support of all the faculty of the University of Chile, later to go for the support of the professors, deans and of the rector of the university, for what deacuerdo am not it is when the violence is used. If I have participated of the manifestations it has only been attending the assemblies, and participating of the days that there have not been classes and voting when it has been requested, however I have not gone, but the day Thursday September 2 saw as the police he/she took charge of repressing and as the authorities of this country they don't care this problem, like to television neither and like they are using the miners to be able to wash their image the politicians.

It is very difficult for me to speak which is my favorite book, because I like the classic literratura, writers like Cervantes, Shakespiare, Dostoiyesky, Tostoi and other big writers, however Gabriel Gracía, is the writer that introduces me to a wonderful and fantastic world, and I find difficult to choose a book especially, because it stops my all their book they are fantastic. But I will choose the first book that I read, I refer to Cien Años de Soledad, one of the most important book in America of the South one and from all over the world, and next to Cervante and Shakespiare, Gabo is one of the three bigger writers of the world. The history that counts this book is about the life of the family Buendia, but what counts is the history of America of the South. This book enjoys it a lot when I read it a long time ago, but when I can and I have free time I read it again, and I have three different versions of this book. When I read the I make in any part, in the street, in the bus, and in my house I always read in my bedroom. For my to read it is not a hobby, it is a privilege because not all can read or not all have the possibility, however those that can and they don't make it they get lost of a very important experience that allows to know worlds, places and people from all over the world and to know like they are them.

KISS in concert

My last concert was of the great band and show KISS. It was last year in the month of April 2009, in the stadium Bicentenari o in La Florida. It was a night of rock, makeup and pyrotechny. That night of Friday started with the powerful Deuce song and the setlist had twenty one songs, an finished with Detroit Rock City. This was a spectacular night, the sound of a great band that held thirty five years of good shows, this is the best band of rock in the word. I enjoyed it a lot because I listened great songs as rock & roll n all nite, she, i was made for lovin´you, love gun and Detroit rock city. Also because the show was as in Europe and in the United State, where the pyrotechny to accompany the songs, where the musician were disguise themselves with makeup and as in the seventies, and specially the demon Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley the Lover boy, original member of KISS. The show had three enormous screens, and the heat of the fireworks could be felt midfield.
Another it sews that special tonight ago, it is that I was with my great and better friend Esteban, with who we almost share those my musical likes and because we play in the same band. Another reason is that Kiss is a band that I wanted to see in Chile.

Play in Wacken Opein Air

I like play whit my band in Europe and specially Germany, becouse is where this the most great fan of the word Heavy Metal, specially in the Wacken Opein Air, here play bands whit Manowar, Running Wil, Graver Digger, Iron Angel, Helloween, Metallucifer and others famous band, also becouse the public is fantastic , crazy and to this event went 500.000 people od all word and specially because is the festival most great of the word, this place to be located in a litter town, this festival is a august and lasts three days, can to drink and listen good Heavy Metal. I Think that this activity is interesting for my as is my dream and is the reason for keep playing whit may band and is the most important for my.
It is also a special activity for my and aque it is a dream that I share with the other members of Thunder Lord, this ambition we share it since you forms the band, eight years ago behind. We have already played in Chile, we lack to play in a big scenario of Chile and later to try to play in Europe. I hope it is not only a dream.

Work of Art, Salvador Dali

I like the work of art of the Spanish Salvador Dali, because is the master of Surrealism, the work of art that I most like Is xxxxxxxxxxxxx and make in xxxxxxxxxxxx, this work of art I like because show that always we are trying to hide our own garbage and that we tried to clean, the ocean symbolize this try, that to clean and to hide we errors. However there is always someone who this looking and that he get angry for that we make. I don't remember when the first time that I saw this work of art of the master of the surrealism Salvador Dali, was if I remember that I was working and he was seeing a documentary of the master of the realism and surrealism and they showed this image. This picture it is special for my since when I saw it for the first time it was going by a moment in my very special life, because it was inside a great problem and that it hid to my family and especially to my parents, because I thought that my alone error I knew it, but there are always other people that know what one has made. The special thing is that I was not acting as always I make it, hiding and silencing my problems, because they didn't educate this way me. As the square one shows it cannot hide and to be about cleaning the errors and the garbage of one.

A Great Holiday

A Great Holiday

My great holiday was together whit my grandparents an d brother, when I have 9 years, this holiday we were in the city of Temuco in the locality of Caraue, where I have for all the month of February, in the house of my aunt and uncle. We took a bus from Santiago to Temuco and before we fallow in cart until the house.

In the most of the days my brother and I we play with the animals of the farm and with my cousins, in the river, a day we were in the cart the lake Budi, where we lunch a roast lamb, and was my first that I eaten blood of a lamb and before we went swimming, however others days we worked in the activity of the camp, where I and my cousins we care the harvests and the animals. A weekend we worked specially in cut apples for make CHICHA. With my cousin also we hunted COIPOS, also others animals with snake, fox and some bird.
I think that this were one of the best holiday that I have ever had in all my life, because I spent time with a great part of my family, I played a lot, and also, it was very useful for all of us, because we shared very nice moments.

The principal voice Heavy Metal died

The past Sunday 16 may died the principal voice the of Heavy Metal Ronnie James Dio, because of a stomach cancer, sickness that the remained a hospitalized for month. Dio is one of the most important figures of scene world the of Heavy Metal, being vocal of big bands like Rainbow and Black Sabbat, owner of an great voice that amazed a million of people. When I knew the notice that Ronnie Lanes Dio was dead, at first I was shocked, I couldn´t believe it, the first thing that I did was to see his official web site where was the letter of his wife informs the dead of Dio.
When I started listening Heavy Metal a of the first band that I like was Back Sabbat with Ozzy Osborne and Dio, band that made me realize that the music that I really loved was the rock and metal. The dead of Dio remember me that other important musicians can die.

My first live show

I like this photo because it is one of my favourite memories, it is my first time playing in public with my band Thunder Lord, and also it was the show of the first record of the band, titled “Thunder Attack”. This photo was taken the June 6, 2004, in the now closed Bar of Don Lucho in Maipú, and was taken by a very good friend called Michelle, that is the girlfriend of the vocalist of the band. In the photo there are only three integrants, they are Esteban Peñailillo, Francisco Menares and me. The photo shows my first guitar and also shows the big difference of how we did look in those years, and how we look now. This show was in a small bar, but with a very good sound, in this place we played with different bands of the same style. After the show we had a good time sharing with my friends and the members of the other bands that played that night, drinking a lot of beer and laughing a lot. I felt very happy that night, because I never imagine that the people like so much our music, a make us feel very important.

A country you would like to visit

The countries that I would like to visit are the countries of Northern Europe, specially the Nordic countries, because I always had been interested in his mythology, culture and landscapes. In these places I would like to search old castles and forgotten battlefields, also these are the land of the gods, the land of Thor and Odin, and especially the kingdom of the Nibelungos, the great masterpiece of Richard Wagner. Also I would like photograph old castles, and to take part in representations of medieval battles. The most interesting thing about this place is its varied mythological stories, in which the warriors fight to die, to go to Valhalla and be served by Valkirias, another reason to go there, is his beautiful cold landscape and his old green forest.

I think that the landscape of south of Chile are not much different from the landscapes of Nordic countries, the difference is in his culture, the Nordic culture is much rich than our culture, because they have a lot of year of document history and his architecture is more developed. In the northern countries we can find ruins of castles, fortress, temples and old cities. I hope someday go to this beautiful lands.

The blog of Natto

The blog that I analyzed is of my classmate Natalia Orellana. My first impression of his blog is that she combines too many colors in the text and different elements in it. Also it is arranged and has a good title “Notes by Nattos”, short and precise, but with few colors (only one, pink). A difference between my blog with his blog, is that she only put information of the topics fulfilled in class. She also published pictures in her blog, which complement the information, and videos of dance, what is his passion. I like the background of is blog, that highlights what she writes, but I thing that a more appropriate background could be a colorfull dance theme. I don't know much about this topic or matter, and neither I did't watch others blog or similar webs, so I think this blog it's ok. Keep on going with your blog Natalia.

My free time and I love

In my free time appart of other things, I enjoy to listen music, read all kind of bookds, watch classic films like The Godfather, Taxi Driver or Scarface, but of all the things that I enjoy, my favourite hobbie is to play the guitar with my friends in our band, with my friends we practice one time for the week for three hours, but personally, I play the guitar very usually, all the days for at least two hours on my own.

I started top lay guitar when I was twnty years old, ten years ago, and the reason why I started to play guitar is because of me and my friends wanted to make a playing room and make a band, to do this we started to buy the instruments like guitars, drums and stuff, at first I wasn’t very good playing the guitar, but with hard practice and work, I began to improve my skills as a guitarrist.

I enjoy this activity because it is an artistic form to express me, and I simply can’t live without music, is a part of my life and playing guitar it’s a part of my personality, it’s one of the things that I do more in my free time and I love it.

The popularity of the online games is increasing quickly, this because the great variety(there is a big quantity to choose), like tennis, soccer, rugby, etc.
This is a way to have fun in internet that is becoming more and more popular.

My favourite movie

My favourite movie is the Trilogy of Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola and is based in the book of Mario Puzo, book that I have readed before I watched the film. The first time I saw that movie was in 1994, as a student. I liked this film because first readed the book and I loved it, too because the film is about gangsters.

This film is better than other movies, because shows the reality of the Italians families that went to North America, symbolized by the Corleone family and as begun an empire based in the game, alcohol and olive. Where the fights to obtain the power and control of the all empire, ends with the death of the father, brother and sons. Price they are prepared to pay.

Other reason because is has keeped his magic with the pass of the years and until now, almost forty years after his debut, “The Godfather” it´s still considered one of the best gangster movies of all the world.

The earthquake of march 27 of 2010

That Saturday I just went to my bed after a tiring day of work, and I felt a gentle moving at 3:34 in the morning, but soon started a horrible sound and begun the unstoppable earthquake, I stand up and did go to the stairs of my house, together with my father, my mother and my little sister, my other two brothers were not in my house. My reaction was being in calm, because this was my second earthquake, that experience helps me to be ready for this phenomenon to help my family.

I saw two different reactions in Chile, the first one, was the slow reaction and mistakes of the government that cause more death, because a lot of people can’t escape to higher lands, and the tsunami covered him. The other reality that I saw was the solidarity of the people, and how much contribute to collects food and money for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami.

Thunder Lord play in live the saturday may 15, in the Bar Piraña at 22:00 hours with other four bands, Dangerous, Maniac Revenge, Invincible Force and Putrexer who show its Demo 2010. Be paid for enter $ 2000 and you can drink beer and enjoy a good, demolishing thrash and heavy metal.

My Place

The place that visits you are located in the fourth region and is well known with the name of Pichidangui in the summer of the 2005 in month of February, accompanied with my friends and member of Thunder Lord, about of ten people. We took a photo for the cover of the first disc or Lp of the band.

This place that we visit is very calm and ideal to rest and to drink beer with my friends, other attractive of this place they are your different landscapes, with water calm and soft sands, area desert, with the famous cave of the Quintrala and the combination with areas of wood.

Another element that I appreciate is the lack of noise, for that the Santiago noise bother me, this small town it has all the services of one city. But the more important is that we were the four member of the band and where we drank, we laugh, we ate and now we are more friends that before of this summer.
